Redborough Mapping as taken delivery of a purpose built survey vessel. MSV registered Class 2C.
This vessel is a 6.9m Razerline hull that as been specially designed by marine architects to be both stable at low speed and comfortable at high speed. She has been designed to be operated by one person. The walk around cabin has side sliding doors to ensure quick access to the tie up lines.
At survey speed the vessel sits flat to provide a stable platform for the hydrographic equipment to be mounted. She has a built in central transducer hole through the hull big enough to take both a duel frequency single beam or a multi beam transducer together with a dry space beside for the heave compensator.
She is powered by twin 115 HP Yamaha 4 stroke motors, complete with Auto Pilot. The 300 litres of fuel on board can survey for days at a time.
She is fitted with 12 and 24 volt house batteries for equipment and a 240 volt 700w inverter or 2.8 Kva remote start generator for the big equipment. There is enough room and space for Sub Bottom and/or Side Scan equipment as required.
